The last few months...In no particular order :)

Most of the following pictures/videos are of Lincoln, but here's a quick few of us:

On March 4th, Dallas and I went with the Masses to go see the March 4th concert. Loved it!! We'd never heard them before, but we had a total blast and want to go again next year! We dressed up...

Brian and Kristin totally outdid us with their outfits though...

Our son also has a couple of different sides to him...here are a few:

And some more...

This is the outfit Dallas wrapped in Christmas paper and gave to me at Lincoln's baby shower. Like father like son!

It looks like he may have had too much to drink in this one.

This is a video we took of Lincoln eating a lemon. We actually missed the AWESOME face the first time, but here is the runner up.

This is Lincoln sleeping on his makeshift bed at my parents house last month. I wanted to document what he sounds like on a regular basis when he sleeps.

Other sleeping positions

We couldn't resist the bath time video.

Being a parent is rad.

The Tiger in Portland?

In recent months, much has been made of Tiger Woods and his infidelity. In December, we were at a restaurant that had pictures of celebrities who had visited that actual diner. When we saw this on the wall, we couldn't help but laugh at the irony. In his defense, this picture looks like it was before he was married and quite young. Not in his favor is the fact that all three of these young ladies fit the description of his infidelity...

Stages of Link

Link is practicing standing. We need a couch that is just a little lower for him to practice on, but he seems to have the hang of this.

Lincoln is also very good at eating new foods that his Mom thinks of feeding him. Yesterday, it was Avocado. I think this picture shows how much he loves being a Green Faced Goober.

We went to a park yesterday and let Link try out the swing. If you listen closely enough, you can hear him cracking up as he swings back and forth. He is too funny.

Mt. Adam's Hike

Last August, I was able to head up with the Venture scouts on a hike up the summit of Mt. Adam's.  I've never hiked straight up a mountain before and I definetely wasn't in the best shape for this hike.  I was able to make it to the top and it was absolutely gorgeous.  We camped out one night, and hiked up the glacier with cramp-ons and ice picks.  Here's a few pictures of the hike.  Jason Haslam and I started out later than the rest of the group, so we hiked by ourselves for the main portion of the hike.  Also read Darrel Fuller's account of the hike here.

Here I am starting out at the beginning of the trek.  Still smiling so far.

Here's we are about an hour into the hike and I'm a little winded already.  We left about 5:00pm Friday night. I think it took us about 7 hours to get to the top from the parking lot.

It really is a beautiful location.  We had great weather for our hike.

Here we are at the top.  It was really the most killer hike I've ever experienced.  I thought my legs would explode, and that was before we were even half way up the mountain!

You can see Mt. Rainer in the background of this picture.

After you reach the top, you can slide down the glacier on your butt and use your ice pick as a rudder.  It's referred to as Glissading.  Also kind of dangerous because you can go very fast and impale yourself on something sharp :)  I got lucky I guess.

Lincoln and hats

Link is always smiling for us.  Whenever we ask him to.  Here's some cute pictures he took with me and Ash the other day.

Here is trying out my hat and wearing his BYU jersey.  He was getting ready for game day while we played in the NCAA tournament.  Go Cougars!!

Just alike...

Ashley won't want me to post this picture because she's asleep, but I love this.  Link woke up the other morning right before I took off for work.  I brought him in to our room and he grabbed a quick bite to eat and fell right back asleep.  Ashley also fell right back asleep and before I took Link back to his crib, I thought I'd take a picture of the two of them sleeping.  I thought they were so cute sleeping next to each other.  Link has been such a great baby and has always slept so well.  I love it when he is asleep because he snores so loud due to his allergies.  Just makes your heart melt :)
