Crazy Summer!

Lincoln's first two months of life have been AWESOME!! Well, we think so anyway. He went to Idaho at 2 1/2 weeks, California at 3 1/2 weeks and New York, Ohio, and Illinois at 5 1/2 weeks. He is a pro at traveling and quite comfortable on air planes and in his car seat, I must say! :)

Pictures in this posting are from all of our travels. This first one was of my first experience forgetting to restock the diaper bag with diapers...LOL. Hilarious. Lincoln had a blow out about 20 minutes after we arrived at the park. I had a receiving blanket that we cut in half and used as a cloth diaper. Then I tied a plastic bag around him. I'm sure all you pro moms out there would've had some better ideas, but I was quite proud of myself...except when Lincoln started crying. I could hear him saying, "Are you serious? What the heck, mom?!"

Daddy dressed me and I am stylin'!

More evidence against Ashley...

We all know she claims to hate cats, but how do you explain this?!!

Actually, last night we were sitting down playing with Lincoln, when Tuck (The Adopted Cat) just walks over Ashley's head and plops down on her chest. I was laughing so hard and so was Lincoln. I took this pic right when Ashley gave me the, "Why is this happening?" look. Then she asked, "Is this going to be forever?" Then she just screamed for no reason. Really weird, but cats do crazy things to you...

But you'll also notice that Lincoln thinks the cat is pretty cool.

Here's a great picture of Lincoln waving goodbye to me on my way out the door to work. I'm so jealous of Ashley :)

Traveling already!

Well, so far Lincoln has been quite the trooper! A week and a half ago he made the trip with us to Idaho and hardly fussed at all on the 12 hour drive there or back! Last weekend, Dallas was going to go out of town, so Lincoln and I packed up and headed to Sac-town for a visit so he could meet the extended family. Here are some pics from our trip.

Linc enjoying his monkey Pack n Play

Somehow Dallas snapped this just at the right time when Linc and I were just chatting in the morning and he was telling me all about his dreams from the night before! ;)

Daddy loves this!

I love this picture!

How many people can say they have a great, great grandma...who LOOKS AS AMAZING AS THIS!! (She'll kick your butt at golf too!)

Great Grandma Geri gave Linc his cute little green outfit too!

Bryce Millward Memorial

2 weeks ago, my best friend from High School was killed in an Army Helicopter Crash in Hawaii. Bryce was the funniest kid I ever met and always left me cracking up. I loved this video of him because it highlights his personality and love for life. Life will never be the same without you Bryce. God Speed Brother.

Here is a link to his obituary

There is music with this video, so don't forget to pause the blog music off (black box to your right)

More pictures of Linc!!!

Here are more pictures of our precious boy! He has changed a lot in the last 10 days! We think he's quite photogenic and I am obsessed with taking pictures of him. (Note to child #2: I am apologizing already for not having as many pictures of you as we do of Lincoln. It's just a first time parent thing I think. :))

Napping with Daddy. Love it!

Posing for the camera.

Posing again for the camera.

The BEST pose we've had yet!!

Chattin it up with mom.

Adorable.

We propped up his head after the pic. His bouncer's a little big for him. :)

Gram made us beanies for Christmas and even made one for Lincoln, so this is our first family picture...just for you Gram!

The second time I caught him thinking deeply...

I can't get enough of those cheeks!
