Summer Shenanigans!

The last 8 months of our lives in California have FLOWN by. We have been BUSY BUSY having fun...as evidenced in our 50 pictures below. Take a peak...

This is an old pic, but I'm just posting it because my little man is growing out of his little man status quite rapidly.

Hilarious facial expression similarity

Linc's first official haircut. He chose the pink Barbie Jeep over the motorcycle, was given a sucker, a tractor
and a DVD all at one time. That was an indulgent 10 minutes for sure!! He loved it.

Daddy teaching Lincoln how to play "Da Carrr Game".

Driving Daddy's "motocychie".

7 years! 08/06/04 feels like it was just the other day...I still feel like a newlywed, but realize that I AM that couple I'd look at as a newlywed and think, "Whoa seven years...I wonder what it's like after 7. Will I still be this in love?" My answer: YES, yes yes infinity times YES! Deeper in love than I thought possible. Creating happiness one day after the next!

D took me to Alexander's Steak House. Um....THE BEST STEAK YOU WILL EVER EAT. (My Filet Mignon takes the cake, but his Aged Porterhouse was fabulous as well.) Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Desserts were a bit disappointing in all honesty. (However, they redeemed themselves with the cotton candy served with our check...The Carls Jr shakes on the way home made up for it as well! :)

Speaking of sugar...

Breakfast with Daddy while Mommy's out of town is always so fun!!

Golfing with Great Grandma Boyer (90!) and Grandpa Simmons. They are teaching us their secrets....(seriously....they are really good). Be jealous.

This is the bell that Grandpa Simmons put on the Auburn Lake Trails Golf Course (where they live) in memory of Grandma.

1st successful zucchini from our garden. I believe this made 4 loaves of various versions of Zucchini bread...YUM.

Some of the garden goods: Basil, Chard, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Chives, Mint, Tomatoes, Jalapenos.
I had cucumbers, chard and jalapenos coming out my ears, but found some incredible recipes for smoothies, appetizers and sides to utilize them all. AWESOME.

I believe I ate this ALL by myself in two sittings. YUM. Zucchini, fresh grated feta, EVOO, and lemon. Mmmmm.

Double date with mom and dad to see Hot Buttered Rum in Sacramento.

Lincoln and buddy Isaac during our visit to OR in August.

My hot hubby getting ready to unload his bike for the Annual Moto Mancation. :)

No comment on the above photo. I think my love became conditional right about here. ;)

BYU Football's #1 Fan on Game Day!

Ready to ride like Daddy.

Snuggle time with Zee

Love this pic! (Camping at Fremont Peak with the Svantasson's over Labor Day)

Natalie reading to Linc and Lucas

Soot is fun to play in!

As Lincoln would say, "Doe Fah! (Don't fall!)"

Dallas took Lincoln to go rock climbing with Lucas. I love this picture of them!

My little dare devil

Linc's most recent invention...pulled toy chest into the living room, unloaded said toys and created a coffin, I mean bed, to sleep in.

I frequently find my son in situations like these. Usually I make him stay where he is till I snap a pic, THEN rescue him. Neglect? I think not. Entertainment? Absolutely.

Linc on the trip out to the train with our friends. "Mbomby...das a biiid choo choo!"

We coined this as "The Nap Strap." Although a safety hazard unsupervised, it completely did the trick during this trip to San Fran.

Before Dallas left on his motorcycle trip, Andi Call took some GREAT family pictures for us. She was awesome, I don't know how she caught shots of us all still AND smiling. She is one talented woman!

Of course we couldn't let the Stocks have their family pics with BYU gear on and then not copy them...
